About Hypnosis
Hypnosis or hypnotism is a state of consciousness induced by physical and mental relaxation and focusing the attention on a single object or the inner imagination. The main components of this state of mind are; relaxation, concentration, imagination, goal orientation and suggestibility. Suggestibility- being the inducer to the change in behaviour.
In this state of mind the awareness of the physical surroundings are greatly reduced and the inner-self awareness heightened.
The use of hypnosis has been around for thousand of years. Hypnosis is effective, comforting and absolutely harmless, resulting with the individual feeling much calmer, more in control, amending unwanted behaviour and initiating a positive change.
Everyone can be hypnotised if they wish to. The depth of hypnosis is related to their level of suggestibility.
